We’ll Forever Be the Greens—It’s Evergreens
Some dreams start small—just a passing thought, a quiet wish. But for Angie Green, the dream of opening a coffee shop was always there, waiting for the right moment to come to life. After more than 20 years as an emergency room nurse, she finally got the chance to turn that lifelong dream into a reality. With the support of her husband, Rich, and their two sons, Gavyn and Hunter, Evergreens Coffee was born.
Now, eight years later, Evergreens is a place where friendships are made, traditions are shared, and the heart of the community is always brewing. For the Green family, it’s also been a way to grow closer, even when divided by college rivalries (Go Buckeyes, Go Spartans).
One of their favorite core memories? Teaching the boys how to make stuffed bagels and laughing as they perfected the process—an early reminder of how far they’ve come. Those stuffed bagels, now a customer favorite, are a small nod to their beginnings, a piece of their journey wrapped in warm, flaky dough. And just like their bagels, every part of Evergreens has been built with love, hard work, and a deep appreciation for the people they serve.
Blessed To Be Part of a Hometown With Heart
Oxford has always been home to the Green family, and the community means everything to them. With both kids graduating from Oxford High School, they were the parents cheering from the sidelines, bundled up in the stands on Friday nights, beaming with pride at every touchdown.
That same hometown spirit carries into Evergreens, where supporting local schools, volunteering for events, and opening their doors for community gatherings is just part of who they are. They’re mission isn’t to serve coffee and stuffed bagels—it’s to pour positivity and gratitude into the very community that’s given them so much.
